do you think its weird that the more i study IR, the more i'm convinced I want to be a celebrity?!

Between Fukuyama, and the neo conservatives for Democracy in World Politics, and the Cosmopolitans view for the "sophisticated elite" which is lofty for certain, but more and more naively idealistic, and the science of political science....what is with this? On the up side I am taking a course with Stuart Harris (see: http://rspas.anu.edu.au/people/personal/harrs_ir.php) who provides us with heaps of reading material, some of which seems to be quite irrelevant to the topic at hand, but always entertains, and apologizes after having it out verbally with American :)

The program is great, the people are fabulous, the weather is here and you know the rest...

the only question left is how to you make yourself notorious? more relevant than you'd think to IR....
